You read it right, guys! It is a fact that a 4-year-old boy broke a 3,500-year-old jar in the Hecht Museum in Israel last month, in August. It is a natural nature for kids to be playful, and it happened that this boy wanted to see inside the jar. Unfortunately, it smashed into pieces. First and foremost, most of the artifacts in this museum were not encased with glasses. That is why this incident happened by accident, as was claimed. The good thing is that they forgave this kid despite the fact that the fact that the jar was created between 2200 and 1500 BC. If your child smashed anything in a museum, how would you feel about it? Such precious items should be encased with glasses.

This is also what I am thinking. Despite the incident, they will still not use any glasses to encose these artifacts.

If I were in his parents' shoes, I would want to disappear into thin air.

That's a horrible accident. I wonder how come the child could do so as usually the antiques are well protected. There will be glass around etc. But since it did happen, we couldn't blame it more since the child was just too little. The museum shall have a better protection after that.

Unfortunately, the museum did not enclose them in glasses. I assumed that it was not attended by his parents.

I would be super embarrassed. They should have had it behind glass

I agree with you. I think they still do not have the plan to encase with glasses.

It's also the same thing here. Our kids need to behave if being in this kind of place. If they have toddlers and are playful like this, the parents will need to look after them closely.
