Thanks to the teamwork of a fisherman and first responders who were searching for seven year old Shelby Wolff who wandered away from a campsite in Lake Merwin Campers Hideaway in Washington state around August 12, Shelby was found a day later when a fisherman heard her cries in the morning after the evening of her disappearance.
The fisherman was in the company of the first responders as well as deputies and detectives took the young girl who spent an overnight stay in the woods was in good condition when she was reunited with her relatives after she was rescued.
I am sure that her relatives are grateful that Shelby was found safe and sound. They will likely learn their lesson to keep a sharper look on their child from now on.

She looks a lot bigger than 7 in the picture. I hope that her parents will watch her more closely from now on. It's easy to get lost in the woods.

I'm so glad the girl was found. This could have had a tragic ending.

That must have been frightening for both Shelby and her relatives. Not safe anymore for kids to be left alone in a strange place.

With a name like wolf, it is good that she never came across another wolf, but was rescued safely.
Kids will wander off, and need to be watched at all times, especially in such environments.
