Well, I went back to Schnuck's grocery store since there were a couple of items in the ad I wanted. 1 pound bacon packs for $3.85, 5 pounds of russet potatoes for $1.85, and a 3 pound bag of yellow onions for $1.85.
Nothing else really struck my fancy, although I almost bought a beef chuck roast for $5.85 per pound. But I have one in the freezer, so I thought, I can wait.
But I wanted to see if they had restocked yet on the Chi-Chi's Long Island Iced Tea that I got a rain check for, for $6.99 each, which is a good price. They were still plum out of it. But no worries, the rain check is good for 30 days and it's only been a few days since I got it.
I did pick up an 8-pack of Sunny D flavored seltzers, which I think the wife will like. I know she likes Sunny D already. It was a little price at just under $17 but when it comes to booze, that's about right.
No worries. I will make it up somewhere.

@anya12adwi The funny thing about Long Island Iced Tea is that there isn't any actual tea in it. lol

While you can's buy your Chichi, we can't also buy Mango floats, Mango Graham, Mango Frappe because its only seasonal, we have plenty of it during march to June! That's so sad I can drink or eat Mangoes.

You did good on the prices. Got a question for you. Is $2.83 a good price for 5 lbs of potatoes?

I hope it comes in before the rain check runs out.
