As the summer begins to fade, now is the time for hot, toasty crumpets and a good strong cup of tea.
No idea what goes into a crumpet, but with a good spread of butter they are very tasty. a definite comfort food. Basically, crumpets are a butter delivery system.
No surprises, I like to eat a giant crumpet in the afternoon, along with a nice cuppa for a relaxing moment.

@Ronrybs It's similar to a crumpet, but not as springy.

If you want to cook, all sorts of recipes can be read online. But if you don´t, online will also help you ask for delivery. I haven´t baked in years.

@Ronrybs I like to cook but I don´t bake. It is much easier to buy a cake.

@Ronrybs Butter makes everything better. They are similar to English Muffins? Yes? Are English muffins even English?

these look like English muffins which I love! But I am afraid of the toaster so never get to eat them. I always wondered what a Crumpet looked like. I somehow thought it was more like a croissant

@LovesEverybody I've never tried an English muffin, so I am no help there! I gather they are pretty similar

@Ronrybs I admit I didn't know what a crumpet was! I wonder if a crumpet tastes like an English muffin?
