Worst fast food?

In your opinion, what's the worst fast food place to you? We've always said any half way good fast food joint (relatively speaking) gets ruined when it comes to our town. Have no idea why. Wait, yes I do. It's the people who work there. Here, the least worst one is actually McDonald's. It's not the best, but most times the value menu chicken sandwich is pretty good. The two that tie for worst place are KFC and Burger King. Terrible food and BK should probably be reported to the Health Department. DQ used to be pretty good, but not anymore. Less quality and much higher price. So, we eat at home a lot. There's a small BBQ place down the road here in the country that has a daily plate special that's good home cooking. What's your most awful fast food where you live?

@1creekgirl They’re all awful. I never eat fast food now, and it’s become very expensive. Give me slow food any day, cooked from scratch and super fresh.

None of those places ring 'health food choices' in my mind. But I will say that KFC has to be the absolute worst.

We only have one McDonald's in the area where we live and a KFC not too far. KFC is terrible, too greasy food, not pleasant, but I never tried the local ones, it is ages I do not eat at a fast food.

@1creekgirl I think that all fast food places are awful, I prefer to prepare a sandwich at home with simple ingredients, at least I know that the ingredients I use are good and safe to eat.

I dislike fast food places. I think McDonald's burgers and fries are ok. But it's been years since I've been to one. Plus, the prices had increased so much it isn't worth the cost.

We can eat at a local delicious hibachi restaurant for the same price as Taco Bell.

Burger King has always been "good food," but hard to "digest" the cleanliness of the place, and that's typically no matter where I go to a Burger King. They just don't do it right in that area and I think it hurts their business, which is part of the reason they are struggling a bit. As for the worst? Hmm. If I am ONLY judging by the fare, it would be Panda Express. It's just not Chinese food.

@1creekgirl They have a good product. If they can get the stores right, they can actually sell it.

Our KFC restaurants were so terrible, they all recently just closed every single one of ours. They rarely had customers that I could see by driving past any of the locations. One or the other of them was always getting shut down by the health department, they would clean up, get ready-inspected, open back up, and then repeat it all over again.

@1creekgirl Poor old Colonel Sanders is probably turning over in his grave! It's a shame, once upon a time(years ago!) they made good food. Not here, not anymore.

Reading this, it occurred to me that we don't have any of the big name fast food places in my town. Well, there are two fairly well-known pizza takeaways but we would have to go to the neighbouring town or city for things like McDonald's, Burger King, KFC. I'm not a big fan of fast food anyway. I find it's all pretty awful! The service can depend on the day but I don't think I've ever had 'good' service at a McDonald's.

I agree. My husband joked that our local McDonald's has a "wanted" poster with my picture on it in their drive through, lol. Not that I'm difficult, I just expect what's right.

I still mainly cook, but on doctor appointment days, we sometimes end up with fast food. But there's a hibachi grill buffet that is pretty good and actually less expensive.

I've gained five pounds! Still some issues, but improving. Thankfully. I know it's frustrating when your husband is making progress, but still not able to walk well. Maybe you'll see some improvement when you can visit again. Try to get some rest.

In town if we are going by service it is either Taco Bell or McDonalds. Food wise it's probably also Micky D's/ They aren't reliable or consistent with their food.

I do not go to McDonald's, mainly because the ones I go to have gone to the ordering kiosks. I am not sure who is really the worst as we have none in our town.

I live in Daytona Beach a Florida resort town, We have many different fast food places. I do not buy any fast food due to my tight budget so right now I don't know what is good or bad, I can say that when I can spend the money I enjoy going to one of the local pizza places and getting a delicious Italian sub,

There's a Hispanic place near me that we liked when we lived East side. Over here the inside of the place is just nasty plus has zero atmosphere. We've stopped ordering food from there.

I haven't eaten in a fast food place for ages. Most of them have a computer terminal for ordering and I haven't worked out how to get the cheese removed. These days I like to pop into small, independent places for a quick bite
