Good morning! I started a super book yesterday that I have wanted to read for some time since I first heard about it. I wanted to tell somebody about it even though I am not finished with it The book I am reading is an e-book that I borrowed from Kindle Unlimited. The book I am reading is called "The Rom-Commers" by Katherine Center and it is EXCELLENT so far. Granted, i am only on page 89 out of 323, I am really liking this book. I love the caring and devotion the main character, Emma, has to her family and their dedication and love back to her. the book also handles disabilities very well. Emma's dad is partially paralyzed and so far Katherine Center writes the whole situation well. Some authors can't write about things like that with sensitivity. So far, I want to search and see what else Katherine Center has written and read them Have you read "The Rom-Commers"? Did you like it if you did? Is it on your to-be-read list of books like it was on mine?

This sounds like a really good read. I haven't heard of the book or the author but that's not really surprising.

I am further into "The Rom-Commers" and it keeps getting better. Honestly, I thought this author wrote the book I mentioned and "The Bodyguard" that I have been wanting to read for a long time. However, I went to GoodReads and found out she has written many books. I have to look at what they are about and see what ones I want to read. Too many books I want to read and not enough time!

@JudyEv I have one whole wall of my room and then about a quarter of a wall of my room full of bookshelves that my sister bought and installed that are full of books. Then I am slowly working my way through the books in the various libraries in my county library system

No, but it sounds interesting. I might read it if I see it somewhere or if I get a chance.

I read more of it this morning and Wow! it is getting greater. from what I have read I get more of the feeling it has a lot of love for humanity instead of just a lot of spicy romantic love. But I am only on 34% so I may find out the book has both kinds of love. That is the perfect type of book. I never read a book with both kinds of love so I hope my speculation comes true!

Just wanted to tell you, if you want to read The Rom-Commers in physical form (I am not using my Kindle anymore) I found The Rom-Commers at the library on Wednesday in paper form and it is the most beautiful book I have ever seen! The cover is pink and the edges of the pages are pink. I am not sure how it is done, but it looks like they spray-painted the pages to match the cover!

I read both kinds of books. in the late afternoon, I put my Kindle and computer away and lay on the couch to relax and read a physical book or magazine after I write in my journal. The physical book reading helps me stay asleep until 2 a.m. after I go to bed instead of waking at 9 at night and staying up all night.

I haven't read it. I'm reading Hitler's book Mein Kampf. I had been wanting to read it. It's been difficult to read, but I am determined to finish it.

I haven't read Mein Kampf but I like your determination to read a difficult book and finish it. I am afraid I quit books if I find them hard or don't understand them. I am reading a cozy mystery right now because I gave up reading ebooks. I only read physical books now.

Yes, caring and devotion is a good character that we should have for us to show that we care and love the people around us.

Yes, that is very true. we should all love everybody. I switched the format of "The Rom-Commers" from my Kindle and got the paper version at the library. Don't know what has happened yet!

I have not heard of that book, but it sounds like it would be a good one. It would probably even make a good TV movie.

the interesting thing about "The Rom-Commers" making a good movie is that the book is about the two main characters working on a screenplay for a rom-com movie! the book explains about rom-coms which I found helpful!
