Some of those mystery shops are playing a flipping fortune

The company that I work for most often is paying 140 to 160 dollars for recorded shops that are overdue. That is unheard of. I did one of those high paying ones last week. That is very tempting money. I would sign up for another one, but this week is supposed to be very rainy, and my tires are not the best. In fact I ordered one which should come in this week, but even so, I need to get it mounted. I don't want to be hyrdroplaning all over the place. Besides the shops that are up there in money are in areas that flood, and one is in the mountains, a considerable drive. I will stay tuned though...to the weather and the job board.

Canadian Tire has a testing panel where they ship you the small appliance or item, and you test it and review it. My only hold back to that is that I do not use social media, and I believe that they require that you do.

That sounds rather iffy though the money is of course a temptation.

@snowy22315 I would do the same. Rainy season is starting for me. I generally don't drive as much these days when its too ucky out.

@sallypup It's just not worth the risk especially if your tires aren't great.

Yes, your well being is of greater importance, so you want to be choosy. They sound like a great opportunity though.

@snowy22315 Congratulations on the Commanders win!

@AmbiePam Thanks, they played badly though. They didn't deserve that win. The kept having false starts in the red zone. I mean, these are supposed to be elite professional athletes. One of the commentators was saying he coaches a Pop Warner team with Peyton Manning, and if it was their team they would still be doing laps. Commanders were just lucky that the Giants kicker pulled his hamstring. Not that they didn't have a few good plays.

You use your phone to record your interactions with the staff and upload them. It is just the audio portion You still write up the written portion as per usual.

What do you have to do to earn those dollars?

you have to set up an appointment, drive to the shop record it and write a written report. The whole process generally takes 4 or 5 hours.Which makes a pretty good hourly rate.

@snowy22315 That's really nice. What kind of report? About their goods or about their sale?

Yes, my last recorded shop I was able to easily upload the recording, I have had issues with that in the past,so I should be able to get it done fairly easily for the next one.

I was lucky once and got a mystery shop where I got $10 in gas from a gas station, a lunch one and a dinner one. I had free food for the day and free gas. That was really nice.

I have done some of the restaurant ones and have gotten free meals.I did one at a convenience store once where I got free gas, and a sandwich, and one where I got an oil change. There are all sorts of venues that use shoppers.

Those mystery shops would be very tempting at those prices but not worth risking an accident for.

Thanks, how good it is remains to be seen. Not a big rain fan especially when it goes on for days..but it might be mostly over by Thursday with a little reach back on Fri.
