Strictly Come Dancing is a dancing competition in the UK, where celebrities are teamed up with professional dancers and taught to dance, then on the Saturday they dance live on air and get critiqued by four judges, then given a score out of 10. Those scores are added to the viewers votes, and in the results show the two couples with the lowest scores have to dance again in the dance off. Then the judges choose the couple they thought danced the best to save, and the other couple leaves the competition. When it gets down to the final 3 it's the viewers alone who choose the winner, and they win the glitter ball. There is something similar in the US called Dancing With the Stars. This year Wynne Evans is doing Strictly. Wynne Evans is an opera singer, actor and radio presenter best know for the 'Go Compare' adverts where he plays 'Gio Compario' who most TV watchers find terribly annoying! But he's a really good opera singer in real life. Since finding out Wynne is doing Strictly I've found out a few things about him that I didn't know before. He played The Royal Opera House when he was 32 stone! Since then he's lost 7 stone (which is how much I used to weigh in total!) Doing Strictly, he hopes to lose more weight. He went through a divorce, which caused him to be depressed. He bought himself a house which needed doing up (didn't see that one on Homes Under the Hammer!) It took him 5 years to do it up how he likes it. He loves his kitchen, as he loves to cook. He learned to cook when he was very young, and last year he won Celebrity Masterchef! (Why didn't I know that?) He's Welsh and he has a radio programme on BBC radio Wales. Also on Strictly is a blind comedian called Chris. My Mum is backing him, but she really doesn't know how he's going to do it! One of the contestants has been given the American Smooth to do next week, but he thought an American Smooth was a milk shake! I can't wait now till next Saturday to see how Wynne, and Chris, do. Do you watch Strictly, or any other dancing shows? I hope you are all well. Have a nice day.

Each to their own. Can you dance? I want to learn to dance. I want to learn the Waltz, so that when I get married our first dance can be the Waltz to The Second Waltz by Dimitri Shostakovich!

I did watch one season of this with Australian celebrities. I enjoyed watching them. It's amazing how good they became.

I know what you mean. I like to see how they improve each week. I'd really like to learn how to dance. I want to learn the Waltz, so when I get married our first dance can be the Waltz to The Second Waltz by Dimitri Shostakovich!
