We solved the problem with the stray cat

She almost abandoned her 5 kittens because we weren't aware that her food was not good. She ate dry food called Whiskas. I bought her quality wet food and my mom bought her another brand of dry food. Now she has milk for her kittens. Soon we will spay her, but I am not sure if she can be outside after spaying. This surgery is invasive and they need a collar. I had a feral cat outside and after spaying we brought her into our house. We kept her separated from my other cat. She stayed for 2 weeks in our house. She couldn't move because she had a recovery suit. This thought terrifies me. How can we keep her in our house when we have other cats? What if she will bring some disease? She needs to be spayed, but it's easier said than done. I wouldn't like to keep her for 10 days in our house. I talked to my dad and he won't receive her even for a day in his garage. A neighbor took a cat to be spayed, she let her outside immediately. The cat died. I will share a picture with her kittens. They are all healthy. They eat wet food.

What a sweet family! Glad the only problem was the quality of food and you solved it. The vet should check for infections before spaying the cat, I don't know if it's the norm there but I hope the cost covers a pre-surgical bloodwork where they also check for diseases. Another concern is that your cats will not accept her in, maybe she'll have to stay in one room to recover.

I asked him to receive her in his garage when the stray cat gave birth for one day. He refused even if all those kittens could die. I mean last year she had them in a different place (a dirty place) and she lost almost all of them. Only one survived. He doesn't care.
