@RebeccasFarm it hurts at first.
I actually do not like needles so much but it makes me happy to donate blood. It's mostly for charity or someone needs blood.
I will talk to my doctor if I can still donate blood now

I tried once but failed the test because I am anemic. Since then, I never bothered about donating blood.

No, I never donated blood. Donors will not get paid. They just get a drink.

we are not paid here and i think the women who still have cycles shouldn't have to do this. but, yes, if it was any money compensation, we will think about it. i am getting tired that we give everything for free and not getting that back. and one apple or candy bar is not enough and that conscience thing, others should have it too.

If you get paid, it really is not a donation. I have always done American Red Cross, mostly through their mobile units. I had a specific location when we lived elsewhere that I donated platelets regularly.

I have donated twice.
No cash payment but I did get a cup from the Organisation conducting the camp at our office.
Yet it was years ago.
Plus juice and chips for blood replenishment.
