An incredible answer to prayer

A while back I had a blood test (it's called a liquid biopsy) that tests down into cellular DNA and shows more than most scans.
It came back showing a few positive markers which were concerning. My Oncologist immediately ordered a PET scan.
A PET scan detects areas that will light up when there's extra glucose. Apparently cancer will light up when there's more glucose. It doesn't always mean it's cancer...I had one area light up on a PET scan when I was going through breast cancer treatments and had a lobe of my lung removed. Thank God it wasn't cancer in my lung.
I prepared for this test Tuesday by not having any sweets or caffeine and took the two hour test.
It's very similar to an MRI or CT scan.
I thought it would take several days for the results, but I looked at the online patient portal and there were the most beautiful words:
"No sign of malignancy found."
We've been praising God ever since!
I know He would have been with me no matter what the results, but to know there was no sign of cancer is just indescribable.
I can't tell you all how very much I appreciate your love and prayers. God was so gracious to answer every one.
May our loving Savior Jesus Christ bless you and keep you in His care.
Love, Vicki

@1creekgirl - Often I say to myself "does worrying help?"- Of course not, but it is normal to have some concern.

Thanks, Anna. I tried not to worry, but it's hard not to have some concern. But God is faithful!

Thank you so much, Linda! We're planning to have a birthday dinner for our son Robert tomorrow, so I'm busy making deviled eggs and chocolate pies. Tomorrow I'll make a broccoli casserole, meatballs with gravy and rice, fried green beans, candied carrots, rolls, and sweet tea.
Take care and love to your husband, too.

@1creekgirl Not yet. We had to delay the move. My mama-in-law’s cancer returned. She passed last month. Now we need to wait for the right moment. Trying to figure it out. Also, we have an elderly cat. She turned 18 last May. My husband and I are taking a load up on Sunday and staying a few weeks. The home is still not 100 % restored.

@1creekgirl my headache passed, thankfully.
I am a definite believer that God answers prayers and so thankful He did for you.
I've seen far too many miracles to be a doubter.

I am beyond thrilled! My husband believed all along that it would be good, but I guess once you've had cancer, you're always concerned. But I knew God was with us, no matter what.

I´m so very glad that everything went well. There are new machines every day that help doctors treat ailments. I have been on cancer remission for mant years due to new treatments.

So many blessings from God through medical science. That blood test seems to be able to detect cancer cells at a much closer level than most scans, so cancer can be treated earlier.
