A horse that was rruning on road in Illinois by deputies in Illinois

Deputies with the McHenry's Sheriff's in Office answered an emergency call from an owner of a male horse that ran away from home in Harvard Illinois on Saturday.
The deputies were able to capture the horse who was seen on state highway 173 to contact him that he was able to reunite with pet the same day.
Why did the hose flee that farm of his not known.

These darned animals! One of them is going to get killed. Going out on the highways is not a smart move.

You are right that an animal that goes on a highway could be killed by a motorist.

I hope the horse was not being treated badly at home, and so that's why he run away from home.
