Honestly, it is one of the most amazing time of my day!!! My GSD is super fond of this, in the beginning he was unable to trace me, but with practice and treats he is growing pro. Playing hide and seek with your pet can be a delightful way to bond and engage in some fun exercise. This game taps into their natural hunting instincts and provides mental stimulation, leading to heartwarming moments when they finally "find" you. I mean I feel so proud when he finally able to reach me, even when I try my best to hide at safest location.

Chilly's favorite game was, getting me to chase him around the house when I was in a hurry to get somewhere or get something done.

I understand!!! Because I think they know we have lost focus on them, and they seek attention

Actually that's a good question to ask. I am quite interested in answering this. As a matter of fact, I am also a fan of cats and dogs. And I kept these two types of animals for a long time with me in my house. When such pet animals are in your house you don't know how you pass your time. And they are good companions as well. As far as your question is concerned, yes. I have done that. And I am sure quite a few people have done that who keep cats or dogs in their house. I have not played hide and seek much. But I used to play with a rubber ball. And especially my dog was quite interested in playing that way. It was fun when the ball used to roll down under a cupboard or a table. And my dog wasn't able to get it out by itself. So it used to look at me and its eyes told story of how it was expecting me to get the ball out for him. Those were fun days

Nope. I am sure it will not happen. They always want to be around me.

We lost Topaz, our Golden retriever in 2014. Since then we have been without any pets. Topaz was playful and enjoyed playing till he was 17. But then he got sick and the last few weeks, he had no energy to play.
