Giving and Receiving Second Chances

The concept of second chances is deeply rooted in human society, reflecting the belief in the potential for change and the power of forgiveness.
But, there is also something like "twice a mistake is a choice" , which is thought provoking, when an action is repeated, it may no longer be considered an accidental occurrence but a deliberate decision.
I do believe everyone can make mistakes, consistently repeating the same error could imply a lack of learning or change.
What do you say?

@Aansh13 Both parties realise their mistakes and avoid them when given a second chance

Second chances are important because everyone messes up, but if someone keeps making the same mistake, it does feel more like a choice. It’s all about learning and growing from our experiences. It’s definitely a fine line to walk!

It all depends on the mistake and people and intentions , before giving second chances. There are people who have less empathy , are looking for benefits from your side . The worst thing to do with them is give them a second chance as most times they would avenge revenge. In case a person made tolearable mistakes, then giving second chance may work. Personally I have not given any one a second chance because either they cheated or have looked to manipulate . It always better to be safe but for tiny things which are tolerable , there are many chances to rectify given.
