I have heard and my self believe that we can find great friendships at work, in fact my bestie was earlier my colleague. Unfortunately, recently my opinion is little different. I think now in competitive work environments, friends might find themselves vying for the same promotions or opportunities, which is straining the relationship. The ones who are great buddies at work, are often judged. Close friendships at work sometimes lead to gossip or drama. I always believed its great to have someone at work whom you can look upon for guidance and support when needed. Moreover, in the era of remote and hybrid work models, these friendships have become even more crucial, providing essential social support and collaboration during times of change.
