What tastes good is bad for you.

How come sweets are bad for you. I love cakes and cupcakes with lots of frosting and they are bad for you. I love chocolate pudding pie and that is bad for you. To many calories. My real love is chocolate. I love chocolate. And to much is not good for you.Dark chocolate is good for you and I do like dark chocolate but you should not eat to much just a little bit each time. Candy has to much sugar in it and it will make you fat if you eat to much. How sad that the really good tasting stuff is bad for you. Oh will I am going to have the stuff that is not good for me anyway. But I do eat just a little bit when I eat it.

Yeah, why can’t these scientists give us chocolate-flavored broccoli or cheesecake-flavored kale?!

That's a good question @4 walls. I will eat anything if it tastes like chocolate, well almost anything.

@jstory07 I used to make gingerbread men when my kids were little. I love gingerbread. I put plenty of icing on with candy buttons, etc. Somehow, I survived eating a ton of gingerbread munchkins every year. Then there was rum raisin ice cream and egg nog.

@jstory07 true! Since we are a rice-eating country, I lessen my carbs all in all. My niece is funny though, after eating rice in a meal, she will still eat bread after

I am not a big candy lover. I do love dark chocolate, not fond of milk chocolate at all. But I know not to eat a lot of sweets, the body does usually pay for the indulgence in some manner! There are some desserts that are so hard to stay out of...cinnamon coffee cake, lemon pie or cake, dark chocolate brownies, and oh, I love oatmeal cookies fresh out of the oven....in a perfect world, we could eat all of our favorites, and it not affect us, but sadly it just does.

I know, I know . . . and the same goes for us salt freaks. I love salty things but well, too much of that is not good for us either.

I also love dark chocolate, but I know that we must only eat a little quantity. This is why I avoid to prepare a chocolate mousse, too many calories.

Taste is a bit personal for each person, I think, and I do not like sweet tastes, or fatty tastes, at all. I like bananas, fruits, and crusty brown bread, and porridge.
