I just read Maggie Smith has died / myLot

She was the older lady from Downton Abbey, and Harry Potter. However, she had a career that spanned decades and was quite prolific in her work. She was 89. She will undoubtedly be remembered for her film and television career. RIP Maggie Smith.

Yes, and before her current fame she was in many older movies from the 50's and 60's. A star in both the UK and US.

Yes, she did She and Judy Dench and Julie Andrews Angela Lansbury very well known the world ovet..and in a younger set Emma Thompson and Kate Winslet.

@snowy22315 She and Judi Dench were good friends from what I've read. Some actors/actresses go on forever, don't they?
