Good morning.

I've been up for a little while, but I was doing other stuff. But I figured I would check in. We made it through the storm. The suns shining out there. We are going to go into town in a little while and stop by Dollar Tree and the pharmacy but I doubt we will see any damage there either. Georgia, the Carolinas and Tennessee are getting slammed now.

Here in Jamaica we had a taste of it before it was a named system, now l am hearing there is the possibility of another one developing early next week on the same path taken by Helene.

So thankful the brunt of the storm missed you. I saw some storm chaser’s drone footage of Cedar Key this morning, and it broke my heart.

@thislittlepennyearns — Perry has had three landfalls in the past year, haven’t they? Unreal.

@FourWalls Yeah Perry is going to have a lot to rebuild. We have friends in South Carolina, and they are getting hit hard. It was a huge storm. Chris' uncle is working in Perry. His cousin is in Tallahassee I think. They;ll be out for at least a week getting stuff cleaned up and power back on.

It is good to know that you are safe. Let's keep praying for those affected areas. No words for the affected families. I hope they can recover quickly.

I've seen the weather map and it certainly looks a very nasty hurricane. I'm glad you escaped the worst of it.

It was way bigger than was expected. It covered a ton of ground and effected so many people.

yeah & we're next on the list to get this mess as far north as we are I'm ready for it, I don't like the idea it's coming this far north but oh well. We're getting the rain & the hard winds from it now & going to get worse as it heads more up this away they're talking winds 30 - 60 mph.

That's nothing. When it hit Florida it was 130 mph sustained winds, and gusts of 165-170

I'm not sure if we're gonna get anything. Only time will tell. We're pretty up north here in Montreal
