Do you enjoy spending time on your own?

Originally, I was an introverted individual. I broke the cycle of being alone all the time. So, I developed myself to be an ambivert. The logic is that I can spend myself solo or not. For example, I can eat in a restaurant. I do not mind dining alone. Do you ever dine alone at restaurants? Image Credit: cdn1.matadornetwork.com

I traveled for work, for years. Eating dinner alone in a restaurant was what I did...it's not difficult, in fact, once in a while, it's nice and peaceful.

I used to do this, especially during my medical mission in Tajikistan. I spent my time alone most of the time and was able to survive to carry out my miracle work to the locals.

When I was still working in my previous job offline, I usually spend along eating my lunch and the like. There is nothing to be alone sometimes without being with the colleagues.

Before the pandemic, I usually travel alone. I usually go to the nearest beach and spend time being alone there. It is a part of relaxing and trying to find ways to think about my future. I wish I could do this again soon. At present, it is impossible. I need to deal with so many things in life.

I have dined alone . I prefer home delivery in most cases, as that would be convenient as well in stead of going to the restaurant. I do spend sometime for myself. This is to reflect and improve myself. I want to look at way to better things I do and explore hings of my interest. When you are with someone or with a group , it would be difficult to engage in such things. Plus , spending sometime solo in a day actually refreshes you and give sense of things for you. And it is in fact a good thing to spend sometime with yourself and look at your strengths and weakness. It definitely helps in long run.

It is best to be alone for quite some time. It is a way of being me and no need to be feel stressed out over some things that bothering my mind. We order food online occasionally and it can save time and energy.

I am not comfortable eating my meal if the companions were so noisy. Regardless, I need to deal with them, especially when I am still working offline.

@Jhonna I am fine if the ambiance is noisy; I can still consume my meals. Sometimes, it is best to prepare my lunch box and eat it in my office alone.

I am always along in the coffee shop, fastfood chain, resto, malls, libraries, lol! Because I was ten years old when my mom gave birth to my sister. I have friends, but it is not a problem to me when I play alone, My mom will always keep me at home, while she's doing the household chores I am playing alone, study alone, read along in the library, I guess I grew up that way that is why I mostly love being alone most of the time.

I can imagine where it is coming from. During my childhood years, my mom brings me and the other siblings wherever she goes. That is why I adored her, and she was like the superwoman.

Since I am a single guy, I am always alone. Not until I have my two chihuahuas, they are the ones who tend to be with me all the time at home.

I have dined alone. I often enjoy the quiet solitude of my own company. I find things I can do alone which I find stimulates my imagination, intelligence and provides entertainment. "It is far better to be alone than in bad company."

If I have the time, I usually sit on the bench at the park. I usually entertained by just looking at people there and enjoy the environment. I do agree with you that we can think of things for ourselves being alone.

Dining alone at restaurants is uncomfortable for me. If I am out and about on my own I am more likely to go through a drive through and eat in my truck. As for alone time, it is my most cherished time.

I cannot blame with such a feeling. If I do not feel comfortable eating out alone, I would rather buy some and eat them with the immediate family.

Aside from expensive thing to do, it is best to eat slow food at home. It is healthier than eating out.
