First day of week, last day of the month...

It's the combination that I don't like at all 
. There is something to do with the psychology with patterns. Though it makes no difference, I love it when the new month begins on a Monday. It feels like a fresh start for everything together 
.
It's 1:11 PM as I write this post. I am back from work and had my lunch. Now, I want to relax a bit before starting with my project assignment and few chores that are crying for my attention .
I hope that you all have a good start to this new week and all goes well with the new month there. 
Enjoy your time. Stay happy and healthy. I plan to read and respond to few posts for now. My notifications can wait for a while..I will see them later if I am able to come back here again today.

I hope that it's a great week ahead for all of us. I am at work right now, enjoying the break for a while. We are back to work after a week long semester break, a new semester begins and I hope that all goes smoothly.

In a way , thats true. But it is also fun when first day of the week you get paid. Initially, it was fun.Through the years, it has become a routine. Luckily in India, Wednesday is a holiday and well so it is as good as a long weekend. It is a kind of vaccation fel for most. Most are taking leaves on Monday and Tuesday . Well, the last quarter of the year has lot of holidays for most regions in Asia. But then there are work and tasks to be completed. Well, need to be happy and healthy. Enjoy the day

Hmm...I get your point. Payday is always a cherished one. But in my family, both husband and I don't get paid on 1st. I get it on 5th and husband gets it around 26_27th of the month.
It's festive season in India. It starts with Janamashtmi and will go till Christmas. We have so many holidays. I am looking forward to next week that is a mid term break for us.

For me it's more about the month starting on a Tuesday, than ending on a Monday.
I should be happy as Tuesday is my lucky day, but I like my lucky days to be chill and not under the pressure of starting a new month.
Still better than having a month that starts on a Sunday, because that means the 13th will fall on a Friday, like it did this September.

Each one have their reasons. My husband also feels that Tuesday is his lucky day. I like Tuesday as I have less work at school, only one session and a group session. I am back home by 11 AM.
We don't have any such superstitious belief around Friday, 13th in our culture. So, we don't notice that. But I have seen many of my friends from Western countries having that belief. It's a cultural thing.
