I Am Mad

Not crazy but FURIOUS!
I aimed for a #goodvibesonly feed on here but life happens.
Of course, it had to come from the book of faces.
Or the book of faeces even, but I'm not mad at the platform itself.
Someone thought it was a good idea to share a post celebrating his favorite team in a group about a small town that had little to do with that team. In fact, the player in the photo grew up in the town, but he didn't share this information. I had to do my own research. When I pointed out he should have provided more information, he gave me a very dismissive response to which I coldly replied the group is about this town and not that team. Later, I noticed he deleted my comment yet followed my advice.
In his defense, I called the team in a way that is correct, but I assume it can be perceived as a little provocative to some.
In my defense, that team is an arch-rival of my own.
When I saw that post, I had to hold my horses as I was fuming!
His behavior didn't help. I'm more convinced than ever that fans of our arch-rival are dimwits.
Well, I guess I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed either if I get mad that easily.
Nevermind.

@nela13 Yes, groups especially are "drama farms".
I'm a member of that group to keep up with what is happening in the town I live in. Unfortunately it is not free from negativity but I rarely engage with that content. It's a small town and they can see my real face and read my name.

@TheHorse Could be! I can't even tell you if that's a male, I took that photo myself but there was no "clue".

@TheHorse Yes, something along those lines. Luckily the critter in the picture is not a ram but a deer.

Your anger often only hurts yourself, but you know, it is good if you have someplace like myLot to vent.

@GardenGerty I totally agree, I thought I might as well turn it into an opportunity to annoy the myLot community with my rant.
I'm also trying to lose a few pounds so the anger made my workout better. It's sad my mind wasn't there but the body was, there's a silver lining.

Some of the people on Facebook are real winners, rude and nasty for no other reason then they feel like it I usually ignore them, but sometimes I confront them and it feels good when others show support

@snowy22315 Engaging in "internet wars" can be fun, especially if your comrades are good at their job. And if the rivals are skilled too, as you can't argue if there's no argument in the first place.
