Yawn. A shooting at a park where we used to take the kids.

Working in Oakland was weird. I knew that my life could be in danger, but statistics supported my sense of calm. If less than one person was murdered in Oakland on any given day, the odds of me getting shot and killed on that day were low.
Watching this news report is uncomfortable for me, as I had to watch several kids in that park many times. Of course I was harassed there, but I was never shot at. And I never lost any kids.
Life is strange. Photo is of Jeremy and me in that park. So far as I know, he is still alive.

Wow, just wow.
Guess you're lucky you no longer have to watch the kids at that park, but it's sad to know someone could shoot in a place where kids might be playing.

@nicegolden I agree, it would be nice if the park was calm. Definitely not the one in Oakland.

It is a shame that cities are becoming dangerous for anyone of us.

A cute baby. That's a matter of great concern. What do these shooters want.

Great picture. You should move to Sacramento. Have a good day.
