No More Weekend Laundry.

I decided yesterday that I would no longer do laundry on Saturdays and Sundays to give way for my rest. I want a lazy day. These two days are the only days I can stay in bed longer and I normally do laundry early morning. I do not compromise the time because the weather here and everywhere is unpredictable. There are more chances of rain in the afternoon and I hang the clothes to dry. I do my laundry twice a week, thrice if I change bedsheets. When do you usually do your laundry?

I don’t have a lot of laundry since it just me, so I do my laundry every ten days or so. I try to wait until I have plenty of things to fill the washer to cut down on waste. You definitely want to get your rest in!

That is not applicable to four people in a household who goes out everyday for work or school and living in a tropical country.

@allknowing good for you. I prefer hanging outside on open space with a roof than an enclosed space for air circulation

@rakski Yeah. George doesn't like to change his clothes near as often but I still have plenty to wash. I could switch it to a weekly schedule, but I don't see the need.

I do my laundry depending on the sun and the wind. Today I was not going to wash because we had a gray morning. But after noon, the sun came out with a nice breeze and I washed dark colors. They did not completly dry so I placed them inside the garage

I do two loads of laundry each week on any day that I feel like it. Since I have a washer and dryer I can do that.

I do my laundry when it's a nice day regardless of what day it is. It's easy for me as I can sleep in any day of the week if I want to.

Laundry for me have been on weekend, typically saturday. There is a phsycological feeling that there is one more relaxing day in thr weekend and hence has more time. Plus, if something goes wrong on Sunday like a power cut or rainy day and then we could have challenges. Hence, found it better to do laundry on saturday. Usually do it in the morning though not very early morning or early morning. I mostly do post my breakfast and before lunch time. Unless I have too much clothes , do not do twice a week. Washing clothes are all at once. Glad to understand your routine!

I used to do one weekday, one weekend before. But I feel that weekday is more reasonable so I can have more test on weekends. I can start laundry by 5am on weekdays

Up to twice a week, and never on weekends! Your plan makes sense, you got the chance to sleep in so why would you miss out on that?
