Why $4.96?

Frustrating but less frustrating than $4.99, that'd be hell I guess. I hardly ever cash out right away, unless I need proof the site pays.

Well, it is frustrating but you will cashout much more than $5 for sure.

I suspect that they deliberately let you wait for that !

It is frustrating. Once, I had $5.01 but the way it was configured made me wait until the next month. The site is legit and does pay. I have cashed out many times over the years.

I know how frustrating it can be when you are excited to cash out, only to find out you are just a few cents short. It's happened to me a few times before, and I had no choice but to wait for the next payout. LOL

Yes, there are times we are close to the redemption point and then out of nowhere there is a huge delay to reach that point. It look like ages to reach the point of redemption. I have a few instances and well thats when i learnt patience is a virtue. I just do not take it to mind and focus on other things. And at times , things get better and i reach the point. There are also times when less surveys come once we reach nearly 75% of the redemption mark and waiting would be over half an year. Well , yes it is a weird world when it comes to such things!

I had an issue here when the bank was not working here for few days and my bank stuck at $4.97 and was not able to cash out.

I just figure there is always the next month to make pay out and you will even get more money.

The only survey site I've been using lately is Paid Viewpoint, and it took me about a week to reach 15 to cash out.

Here on mylot I have the same amount. It's annoying and it takes patience.
