Our gardener said he would be back in 45 days but has just returned after 5 months. Luckily his absence was not missed as heavy rains meant no work in the garden. He is a good worker and work in the garden is now in full swing The garden is over grown and that is the first thing we are attending to. He is a master of all trades so to say Soon he will paint the pavement with floor paint. He does all work even swabbing the floor, washing dishes and what have you.

It is better to wait for someone who knows the ropes rather than train a new one.

It is a biggish garden and I feel good when it is well manicured and maintained.

Glad to hear the gardener is back and ready to tackle the overgrown garden! It sounds like he’s super versatile—painting the pavement and helping out with chores like washing dishes? That’s impressive! Hopefully, he can whip everything back into shape in no time.

Getting a good gardener these days is a challenge. May be , he had reasons to take a long absence but since he left in good terms and had been good with his work, it is definitely worth to have him back. And luckily for you , it happened in the rainy season . He thus has not been badly missed during the same period. Maintaining the garden is a challenge along with building one.Hope you are taking care of the same as well . Good to know you will get things set up by him and make things better. Enjoy the day!

I am. He has experience working here and nothing like having old hands rather than take new workers.

@JudyEv That is why I patiently waited although that wait did not unduly disturb me thanks to heavy rain that made his absence tolerable.

@allknowing It's so much easier if a worker already knows the ropes and where things are, etc.
