Easy beef stir-fry for today's packed lunches

Last night, I remembered to bring down two packs of sukiyaki beef slices from the freezer to the fridge for proper thawing. I wanted to make "real food" for today's packed lunches. I've been relying on canned and processed foods lately to make my daughters' packed meals because I keep forgetting to thaw the meats the night before. (It happens when I'm not in a proper headspace and/or when I'm dealing with past/present life issues. )
Anyway, I had a bit of a reset yesterday 'cause the husband took me out for lunch and we did a bit of grocery shopping too. I bought more packed meats despite knowing that our freezer is already filled with other packed meats. (Grocery shopping is therapy.) So, I made a mental note to take out two packs of beef for thawing before bedtime and marinate them the following day.
To make the beef stir-fry, I marinated the meats in sake (Japanese rice wine), regular dark soy sauce, light Japanese soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. I let them sit for about 30 minutes before cooking. When the beef was cooked and tender and the sauce has reduced, I threw in some corn bits, frozen green peas, and diced carrots. I could've drizzled sesame oil if I had it but it's missing in the pantry. Steamed some white rice to go with the beef and packed them all in glass food containers. I added some snacks into the lunch bags too - yogurt drinks, yam-flavored mooncakes, and butterscotch bars
There was some beef left in the pan, so I had it for breakfast too. What's cooking in your kitchen?

For lunch and dinner, I had chicken adobo. I cooked it, and there is still some left. I will eat it for tomorrow’s lunch. Hehe.

@almostoveryou That is correct. It gets yummier as the days pass. LOL. Also, your meal sounds good to me. I have not had that one in a long time.

For whatever reason mother never cooked beef in our household and that meant I only got to eat it after I was married . But these days I am off meat and fish.

It's a matter of preference, I suppose. My mom was such a huge beef eater that we'd have beef soup every Sunday. I don't get them often at the supermarket because they're very expensive. Yesterday I bought some chicken, pork and marinated fish.

If we'd been neighbors, I'd be messaging you the menu for each day. LOL I wouldn't mind cooking for more people.

Sounds yummy. I'll have fish and rice any day. Do you fry the fish sticks or bake them?

Your beef sounds really good. I had a turkey and Muenster sandwich. Have a good day. I can't cook anymore; so there was no cooking going on in my kitchen.

Thank you. they all liked my beef except me. Haha. I don't get to eat turkey sandwich often, but I remember liking turkey bacon. Have yet to try muenster cheese, too.
