A woman will return the kitten she took

There was a woman who didn't seem to love animals. She was very disappointed when she saw the kitten we had. She took a kitten for her two children. Today she called and said she doesn't want to keep the kitten. The kitten scratched her daughter, and her children don't want a cat anymore. I am glad she called and didn't abandon the kitten on the streets. I need to find another home for that kitten. Maybe they were too small. They were left without their mom too soon. The mom cat neglected them a bit while she was alive. Maybe these kittens don't know how to play, but all cats scratch. I hope that other people who took them won't return them too. It would be difficult to find homes again for all of them.

I'm so disappointed in that woman!
It is normal for a cat to scratch while playing, especially if it is young. It is not the kitten's fault or the mother cat's fault, if other people know the bare minimum about cats they won't think it is a problem.
But I'm glad the kitten is now in a better place, I hope he finds another family soon.
However, I'm low-key worried about that woman's children. No reasonable parent would get a cat just because the children ask for it. I've always been told animals are not toys and children can't take care of animals by themselves. It is the adults who must want the pet in the first place, while it can be an opportunity for the kids to learn about responsibility, it's the adults who have to be accountable.

I agree with you. All kittens scratch. Do you remember? I wrote about this woman and I asked her to return the kitten. Now I found another owner. Actually, she found another owner. She was so desperate to get rid of the kitten and sent messages to people. She behaved like cats are toys. This woman took this kitten only for her children. She didn't want to have a cat, but it was too late to see this before. When she came here she said that she wouldn't take that kitten. If I was there I wouldn't give any pet to her.

@somewitch The new owner has 6 cats. I am sure she knows. She rescued all her cats since they were very small.

They were too small to live outdoors. I like to help them. This gives me meaning and I save lives. My dad says that they don't matter because they are cats. But he fed them too. He stressed me to find owners for them. When I finally could find owners he said that he doesn't care. But he tried to protect them too.

@dya80dya Ahaa! That's why my mom doesn't allow for pets and also we do not know how to care for the pet!
