Do you play a musical instrument?

My children have been asking me to learn to play classical guitar for some time now. I love music and I think it will be good for them to learn to play the guitar.
There is a music school near my work and I finally managed to get a good schedule for both, they will start next week.
For now, I don't need to buy guitars, the school has enough for the students to learn but later it will be a good gift for both of them.
It is an extra expense but I think it's worth every cent.
Do you play any musical instrument?

@nela13 if I lived near you I would teach you, Learning piano notes is like learning the alphabet. There are sites online that teach you to play the piano.

When I was a child, I used to play the drums and organ. As an adult, I do not play an instrument at all.

No, but I used to play a bit of guitar and piano. I never got beyond the beginner stages though with either.

@nela13 I think I liked them both equally. Guitar kind of frustrated me though because I couldn't tune it. I don't have a bad ear. I don't know why it wouldn't work.

@snowy22315 I don't know, especially if you liked it. My kids want the guitar, I let them choose, hope they enjoy it.

I had a digital casio and I created my own notes and played many tunes. But I am not an expert.

I did when I was in school, because my parents wanted me to. But I didn't keep up with it.

@nela13 Well, I played the recorder, flute, gutiarand painio. Although my teacher didn't like that the only "panio" I had to pratice on was a small casio keyboard. And, I don't really count that because it was one of those you get kids to play with.

@nela13 I haven't studied music. I just learned to play musical instruments. Of course, you need to have some basic knowledge of music theory.

I never took real music lessons. I tried to learn some keyboard on my own but I was so frustrated I couldn't get to play with both my hands and gave up.
Guitar seems cool, and it would also force me to use both hands so it could help with the keyboard. But I don't want anyone to hear me as I practice.
