Yes, next weekend is a long weekend here in Canada. It is Thanksgiving Day weekend. The actual holiday is on the Monday of the long weekend. We, as most families, opt to celebrate on the Sunday, so that we can be over our turkey hangover come Tuesday when we return to work. I picked up our turkey today. They were on sale, and the 5-7kg size, which I like to buy, tends to go quickly. ~Photo is mine There will be lots of time next Saturday to get the rest of what I need for the feast. I love celebrating Thanksgiving, we really have so very much to be thankful for, and I try to give thanks daily for the blessings in my life. ~Photo is mine

Just now
I remember you celebrate in October in Canada. That turkey size will be perfect for your family.

I always forget you celebrate a month sooner than we do here in America. For reasons I'll never understand, our thanksgiving day is always on a thuresday.

I am sure it would be a great chance to be with all the loved ones in one venue.
