Hubby and I just realized that we hadn't sat to tea together in a long time- silly sounding, I know. Tea time here means slowing down and enjoying a piece of home cake and maybe a half sandwich. Just us time. I said we needed to make a specific time, just like we have on the calender a time that we're getting together and discussing writing with another couple. We looked at the calender and whoopsie. This coming week is solidly blocked out. We finally figured out we could make the tea time date for a week from Tuesday. I will set out pretty plates and one of the vintage teapots. I'm pretty sure there will be mint in good enough shape that I will pull from the garden. Peter cat will get his fuzzy rump off the dining room table for a while, too. Peace! Peace and slow, slow moments.
