That's not my porch!
I don't order that often from Amazon, but when I have, I have never had any issue getting my orders. Except this time.
I bought some cat food and AAA batteries and they were supposed to be delivered yesterday, but I never got them. I just chalked it up to, "They're probably still on the way, they just got the delivery date wrong."
When I checked my email this morning it said my packages were delivered and they sent me a picture of my packages...
On someone else's porch!
I had a sneaking suspicion it was the house next door to us, so I walked over there, and sure enough, there were my packages. I sent a notice to Amazon and I will see what they have to say about it.

Don't people steal packages when left on porches without informing someone in the house?

@anya12adwi The porch in the picture looked vaguely familiar, so I figured it was probably over there.

The worst delivery service is FedEx. The guy keeps throwing my packages in front of the garage. Monday he delivered a package ON THE PORCH; but it was for someone on another street and another house number. I think he did it deliberately because I've been filing complaints against him. Have a good day.

Well, a couple of months ago, I received an empty package from Amazon. It contained organic Brazil nuts. It looked like someone had cut it open or it was never sealed properly. My question is, "How did the driver not notice it was an empty bubble mailer?!"

I am glad that you got your packages. I hope that it won't happen again. Do your houses look the same?
Does Amazon often take pictures of the delivery? They should do this in Israel too.

I thought you were gonna say some cat came by and opened the package and had a feast...

This happened to me once when I was living in my trailer.

Good thing the packages were at your neighbor’s. Would have been worse had they dropped them somewhere far away.
So we have our garage and then house door and then neighbor’s garage. Their front door is around the corner. Many times deliveries for them get put onto our porch. It’s not that difficult to figure out their door is around the corner.

We don't order from Amazon that much either. But we do from other places. Normally we are home so we know when a package is delivered.
Once they delivered a package to us that was for our neighbors around the corner in the cul-de-sac. We both have the same numbers in the address but different road names. I took them their package.

Pretty common error with a lot of delivery places.

You're not alone. I had experienced that. It's my nephew who received and signed it in my behalf. He forgot to turnover it to me.

a long time ago it happened twice to the same house and the person who lives in the house brought it over to my house.
I have cat food, kitty litter, colored pens and I am going to start Vitamin B12 this week all on subscribe and save and get good service. The vitamin b12 is $9.98 no tax and the same size where I used to buy it is $18 so I decided it would be dumb to not get it delivered every 4 months at a discount!
My sister says Amazon has a fantastic price for pop-tarts she sent to my nephew in college. she sends all kinds of things to my nephew from Amazon and she never complained to me that he isn't getting packages. I plan to order the Pop-Tarts in a little while as I have a few left.

I hate when that happens no matter How many times you say something
or HOW you say it some how or another it never fails it gets lost in route.
I don't deal with amazon I use ebay that's through my back acct & if I
have something get lost or never received I go through them & they
refund my $ within days or try & solve the problem.
