Hello Mylotters!!
Recently I have seen many Indians possessing weird sense of entitlement because of rich history or culture or population or religions!! And why I am saying that? I will tell you..
I watching Tyla's content on YT and I came across few shorts where few Indians would comment, she looks Indian, she sounds Indian, she has good set of eyebrows because she is India and she has Indian named title. I found many South Africans countering their pompous pride but these Indian commentators did not back down!
Surely, she had that title but noone had consesus if her father was Indian from Mauritius or Totally Indian or half Indian! Her mom is also mix. So these vile commenters write she is 50% Indian because of the Indian roots of her father! LOL! I wanted to shake these people for writing such a lame justification of why her Indian roots need to be claimed against other ethnic roots! I wish genes transferred that easy peasy!
She got famous for her water song which had S. Africcan beats, their English, their dance and yet these people were trying to feel proud because she got popular and she had some Indian roots! Her accent did not sound Indian at all baring 1-2 words but those people were fighting that it is a south Indian accent!
She is proudly promoting her country which is South Africa and one comment really irked me which stated that she wants to be black because she wants to get popular!!! Ugh!! How entitled these people are!! Like who are these people and from where!
As a matter of fact, that song would have been heavily massively criticised here and her looks would not have been appreciated here if she was living in India!!
These days I am seeing these people are getting high on claiming everyone and everything is from India! They make me feel embarrassed and irritated!

Wow you really know about India! She was launched in the industry after her title was changed, making many people think she is kashmiri! My father still thinks she is Indian muslim because she has "kaif" title! He got irritated at me when I said she is not at all Indian!

@grenery8 Akshay Kumar has now become saturated in the movie industry and he is not understanding why audience don't wanna watch him! Katrina is now experimenting with movie choices to show her acting talent because she still is not known for her acting skills!
I would recommend Kill- recently produced is an action thriller movie! If you have time, you can watch it! Otherwise, there's nothing much good movies now!

@anya12adwi Her father was Pakistani and her mum is English, i think but with her make-up, people would be mistaken and her speech today; English with Indian accent, if i saw her for the first time on telly, i wouldn't know either.
thank you, i watched some of her movies when she starred with Akshay Kumar and i am a fan of his or was. i haven't watched Hindi movies in ages.

I think it's common internet behavior, people want to feel good about themselves and they'll either "project" or "introject" depending on what they see. Maybe Indians are more extraverted than average and comment more often, so it feels like a lot.
India is surely an emerging superpower, but I guess people will be hungry for pride and recognition until then. While it can be annoying, I get it.
As long as India doesn't turn into a fascist dictatorship, it's okay.

Yes, this extraverted nature has been moulded into us by the society before and now by the current regime, media & conspiracy theories propagating youtubers! We are heading towards fascist dictatorship
thanks to current regime's parent organisation who has been working since pre-independence and has polluted more than 70% of the majority population!

@somewitch Yeah, I had to remove one of my friend because he was into that far right ecosystem and only criticises the current regime when one fanatic criticises!! I have given up on the mental health of that ecosystem!

@anya12adwi Yeah, that's so unfortunate. It's hard for common sense to prevail if the majority has been brainwashed and censorship does the rest.
