Talk about climate change

I was waiting for it to get a bit warmer today before going out and doing more yard work...
It went up from 14°C to 16°C (still not warm enough for my liking) and the sun was shining on the area in which I wanted to work. So about noon I put on a couple layers of clothes and went outside.
The sun was high in the sky, just a few fluffy white clouds, no wind... I got a bit done of what I had intended when it started to get dark and windy, really windy (almost lost my hat). And then a cold rain started to fall. Luckily, my jacket is waterproof.
Thinking about a hot toddy but it's not even 2pm, so I'll hold onto a cup of tea and honey to warm up.
And it's still raining but not quite so dark, although the temp's dropped a degree.

Weather seems to have a thing for getting worse when someone goes out.
I had something alike happening today, only difference is that it was already raining... but once I was about one mile from home, rain got much heavier.
And now the sky is all nice and clear, except for a few clouds here and there.

The sky has cleared up here, too, but hasn't gotten any warmer... 12°C/54°F at 4:21.

Mother Nature keeps changing her mind about what season it is.

@kaylachan And now that I've spent the last couple hours today bringing in my houseplants, the sun is shining! But it's only 11°C.

The sun is trying to break through the clouds right now... hope it makes it and stays all day.

I had a cup of hot tea mid morning as it's chilly here too. Although we had our windy weather in Sunday for a few hours without rain rain would be good since everything is dry here.

@BarBaraPrz that's coming. Faster than I want. The only thing good about snow is that I can try out my new snow thrower and see if it works well or if I made a mistake in my purchase.

I wore my light jacket but it wasn't long I came out of it cause it got
too warm for me, but at lest I did get what I had to do done finally.
I just got done & came in to call it a day, so I can rest up a spell
& think about what I'm going to do tomorrow & go from there.

I was hoping to get a lot more done yesterday, and it doesn't look like I'll get anything done outside today...

Well, the summer was really bad where I live. It was tough without airconditioner and air conditioner sales was over the roof this time. Believe it is same story elsewhere across the globe. And the winters are harsher at some places and regions. Rain has been moderate not heavy as one would have wished for. What i fear is the water scarcity going forward and not sure what our scientists and governments need to do to ensure we have liveable conditions during different seasons especially during summers. Well, good to know how you carried the day. Enjoy the time!
