....cut down by two people in the UK. The significance of this is that this living thing is 150 years in existence. It happened at the end of September 2023. The course of action is to replant some of its parts. The culprits were two irresponsible citizens of this country. Just imagined how cruel and brainless it is to do this act. Do you think that they need to be punished severely? Image Credit: e3.365dm.com

Indeed. They need to. At present, they are waiting for the trial proceeding to convict these people.

It was not mentioned in the article. I will try to find more essential information why they did this. It is unbecoming for a person to do this.

@Shavkat They have lost all human sensibilities to harm such things which have past value!

I would have assumed it was on their own property if they were cutting it. If that was the case then it’s sad it was cut down but they had a right to do what they want with it.

It was not in their property. It is situated in a peaceful place. I felt bad because they were not able to protect it.

I agree. I really cannot understand why the authorities were not able to stop them in the first place or even the local community that they are in.

@luisadannointed I do not write much on my site. The reason is that I cannot monetize in the first place and thinking what should I write there.

in some forest parks, some old trees need to go down for countless safety reasons. if this wasn't the case, which it isn't, i consider it a crime and don't know about others but seeing helpless tree on the ground, i feel very sad; it was a soul as well.

I cannot imagine why no one intereferes them doing this bad act. I also assumed that the tree is in an isolated area. However, I cannot find the real culprit. One of the articles that I read is, a 16-year-old male did this.

@grenery8 I am sure their families felt ashamed for the wrongdoings. These teens are not guided or even learned something from the elders. I assumed that they were born naturally bad in this world.
