National Grouch Day

Happy Tuesday Everyone! it's a nice sunny day here this morning but it's chilly.
Yesterday was a holiday here so my daughter was off from work. We took a ride to visit my son and family and it was nice to get out for the day. They live in the Pocono Mts so it was doubly nice seeing all the changing foliage. I'm always amazed how all the leaves change color at this time of year.
Today is National Grouch Day so I've already joined the grouch club as I have to pay my trash bill and drop it off at the municipal building and then stop at the post office to mail a package. It shouldn't be too bad but I'd rather just stay home and not have to go out.
That's pretty much what my day is looking like.

Well, I had to go to the doctor this morning, and I found out the resident grouch nurse no longer worked there. It was a nice surprise because that nurse was one of the most unfriendly people I have ever met. Then I went to the post office, and was happy to see just one person a head of me. Then to top off the morning, I dropped by my dad’s in time to hug him before he left to visit a lady in the nursing home.
I love seeing the fall foliage, and it was something my mom loved too. I’m glad you got to see your son at the same time.

Sounds like your day is opposite of grouch day
That nurse leaving certainly must have made you smile from ear to ear
Glad you were able to see your dad and give him a big hug. Those hugs are priceless. In case you need a other one, here's one from me

@Marilynda1225 The nurse who took my vitals told me nobody liked her because she was a constant source of negativity. It must have been hard to work with that attitude.
