I hope everyone is doing very great here. Everything is just fine and the going is really good so to speak. So what is the way forward especially to those people that seems to have wasted their quality time on casual jobs for long and realized that they can do nothing especially when the jobs are over and stood there uneducated. Due to that these people seem to battle with long lasting poverty as they have less chances for accessing good paying jobs in the job market for sure. I have seen so many people passing through that kind of case scenario in my location including me. What are your advices on that?

That sounds terrible! I am not sure what would be thd right answer for it. Maybe learning a new skill through your means. Or maybe trying for online hustles that might give some extra pennies. Well, I am really not very clear about the picture. Does your country have any skill development centres for such people coming from such backgrounds?

There are there but they are not free. One must pay fees accordingly.

@Treborika Skill development centers are free in my country. Some students also receive a stipend to help with lunch and transportation costs.

I wish I knew what to say. I live on a budget ever since I became a widow and retired. But I do get some money so I can make it last until the end of the month and even get something special as groceries go. My eldest grandson who likes music and theatre, discovered that he needed a job so he learned electricity and is now doing jobs in that field. He is just a technician but it helps. He shares a house with some friends and that is also less expensive.

Gooing to school isn't always an option for a lot of people. So you really can't say education is the problem. I know a lot of people who've gone to get a degree and can't get a job. You need to do what job you can well, do your best to keep it, and plan for the eventuality you could lose your job. There's a lot of mistakes employees make that cause them to loose their jobs. And, sadly, schools don't teach you how to keep or even get a good job.

You are very right my friend. Unfortunately most good paying jobs in my country would require a college or university degree

It can be so, so hard to get ahead. I really don't have any good ideas. Being educated is always a good start for children but it's much harder for adults.

Invest on skills which are hot across the globe. For example, AI is a hot skill in market and if you are a computer science graduate or has any aptitude for same , learn and acquire skills from internet or any other way and then apply for jobs. There could be delay in getting jobs but still you should get a good paying job. Again , being an enterprenuer is also a great way to help people in your country as well as get a job. So , look at your stregths and look at the best area where that strength can be used and focus on that industry. Last but not least , depending on multiple streams of income, helps to be certain in a uncertain world of financial troubles.

I can only speak for myself. I live from SS to SS but manage to have all I need, food for me and my cats, and a roof over my head. I thank the Lord everyday for all I have.
