My Wife Has Left Me

Well, not for good. It's just another gambling trip. Not that she does them that often. Just twice a year. Usually once in June and of course, once in October. She left a few minutes ago and she won't be back until Monday.
She'll be up North in Wisconsin, I believe if I remember right, somewhere around Keshena.
Hopefully it will be a profitable trip. But of course, it's gambling, and it rarely is. Oh well, she will be with her cousin and some friends and will have a good time, so even if she comes back empty handed, at least I know she will have a good time.
Plus, for whatever it's worth, it's nice for us to have a little break from each other too. We all need that from time to time.

@Shivram59 Yes. Indeed, it is. To top it all off, she leaves off for somewhere and I tell her to have a good time. She leaves me a list of chores. lol

When you guys are apart, do you cook differently? I remember growing up, whenever my grandparents were apart..my grandpa cooked things that she either didn't like or he knew she would say were too unhealthy for him lol

I do actually. I won't make anything real elaborate, and a lot of times I will just go and get a bucket or chicken or something. I didn't do that this time, though. I mostly ate leftovers. One night I cooked On-Cor riblets and boiled some cabbage. On the last night I just went and got Taco Bell.
I COULD have bought some salmon. My wife doesn't like it, and I hardly ever get to have it unless we are out somewhere that serves it.

Your so right, separation helps the relationship but then again
can also hurt 1 at the same time in other relationships, but
Most the time it does a relationship good, that's why I love
being in my own place & having the peace & quite I enjoy.

I understand you wife. I´m a gambler too. My husband taught me to take to the casino only the money I wanted to lose. And never take a credit card or the like. Temptation is too big.

@porwest I have never understood why is it that when you lose 30 or 40 dollars it is so much. Yet when you win that amount it is miserable.

@NJChicaa I don't mind it if they let me play a little bit. I am fine with losing the money, but don't just take it from me just because I am there. It's not like I'm expecting a life changing event. I am just looking for some quick entertainment.

@Dreamerby Actually, I was. That was my last job. lol Did it for 10 years, 14 if you add the sales element attached to the job I had before it. Made top sales one year in the one before my last one.

Hitting a jackpot would be sweet. Fingers crossed it happens this time. I'll be doing some writing, working on some YouTube and might pick up the guitar and noodle around a bit. Everything is fair game for me when the boss is not around. lol
