I made two complaints today

I'm a patient person, but when people abuse me, I also lose my patience.
I bought my daughter new glasses in February (with special and very expensive lenses to treat myopia), and in July one of the glasses' stems broke, I complained, they told me that they could only repair the glasses at the beginning of September because the factory was on vacation. The truth is that they have not yet been repaired. Every week I have called there and every week they promise me that they should receive the piece within a few days.
Today, I called and made a complaint, it's been too long. They then told me to take the glasses there and they would see if it was possible to change the entire frame. I hope it is possible and that they are ready today.
In the morning I also went grocery shopping and only when I got home I realized that they had charged me €1.19 for a small bread when it only cost 19 cents. I had to complain, they have made mistakes on prices several times and I am always the one who suffers, never the supermarket. Whoever is at the supermarket cashier should pay more attention to what they are doing!
Do you also complain in these situations?

Some stores here are notorious for charging the wrong prices for items. You need to check. The prices are higher in the scanner than on the shelves. Some stores are doing surge pricing. They change the price according to the time of day you buy it. it is ridiculous to pay different prices for the same loaf of bread at different times of day.

It is strange. When I wore glasses and broke the stem that goes over your ear, I walked into where I bought them and got another stem. They put it on for free. You can also buy a glasses repair kit with tiny screwdriver, screws, and I forget what else. Save old glasses you can use for parts in an emergency.

i went to lidl store on monday and not sure how, the cashier charged me double for a body lotion, i couldn't believe it. i had to go back and hoped she would believe me. i understand you fully with this supermarket.
also with the glasses issue, you are really patient; where is their shame, i must say

About the bread, I wouldn't call it complaining, it's more letting them know they did a mistake. Totally fair, same with glasses. I hope your daughter has an extra pair, but it sucks to buy expensive customized glasses and not be able to wear them for months.
I try to not complain, but if non-verbal clues don't work and I'm really that "desperate", I might give up on patience and be verbal.

The bread mistake is not the first time it has happened, it starts to annoy me, the person at the cashier was not paying attention to what she was doing and this time I decided to complain and they gave me the money.
The glasses were repaired yesterday, finally!

sorry to hear about that situation with glasses. i hope it gets fixed soon.
i rarely complain, but when i see something doesn't add up - i ask and try to solve the problem.
on the other hand - my mom would complain about such situations in the market. she would make them cancel receipt or call them out for not putting the correct price on articles. she would do it peacefully and politely though

Definitely do complain and see justice is getting served. However, would take business elsewhere. Something similar that happened a few years back. There was a store nearby who was getting regular business from us. However, we ran out of drinking water and approached them for water cans. The person in store rudely said no and well we pointed a water can with them .They responded none available to bring them there. From that day , all the shopping and water services was given to another store. They regreted about their actions , but we never bothered. Plus they did overcharge for a few things earlier and we got the refund for those. Business was done with them. We moved to a different area and not sure what happened with them. There is no mistake from your part. Canot be always be patient in these cases.
