It's not uncommon to see signs like this in Australia, especially on parks and wildlife places and even some beaches. It scares me, but I visit these spaces. Thankfully, I've never stumbled onto a snake here is Australia. Have you ever stumbled on to a venomous snakes anywhere?

I don't know. Perhaps I will avoid entering inside. I am scared of the snakes. If the snakes are poisonous, it will be quite dangerous.

These are still public spaces with lots of movement in the parks. So hopefully snakes don't get near people even if they are there.

One snake got into my apartment. and my cat, Precious was playing with it. Don't know if it was dangerous or not. Thankfully it didn't bite him, or me and I got it out of the apartment. But, it was scarry.

@pitstop Well, lets just say very carefully. I first made sure all the cats were locked up. Then I got behind it, picked it up and to ssed it into a box big enough so if the snake did hood, it would hit the box and not my hand. Then I opened the front door and dumped the snake in the grass outside. I don't believe in killing them, because it's not their fault they get into our homes. We had a "pet" snake in one of my science classes in high school, so I learned how to handle a snake and not get bit.

Yes. I wanted to get out of the car and investigate but giant flies kept me inside the car. It was a copperhead snake. Have a good day.

No, but they have copperheads in this area. Usually when I see a snake though it is a non venoumous variety. I saw a very long one in my yard several weeks ago.

Lol! That's place is not for the weak. I don't dare to cross a fence that says beware of dogs... I will never cross a place with that kind of warning, hehehehe.

I have never encountered a venomous snake, but snakes in general petrify me and I would never enter an area where there is a sign like this one.

@pitstop I’m so glad that I live in a country with no snakes. I’m paralysed with fear just thinking about them. Had a number of close calls with them in India.

I used to live in an area near a river in Lake Charles where there were snakes in the tall grass but I never encountered one.

@pitstop The small snake that came to the backyard of my former home was not poisonous. Maybe the snakes that were in the grass across the street in an open field were.

Snakes are killers and the venemous are found in tropical climates. I am very wary of them. I have lived in cities and that way I have been safer.

Snakes are slowly migrating to inhabited areas as their natural habitats are growing thinner.
