Is Anyone Sleeping?

Some of you know about what happened the night Hurricane Milton came knocking on our door but I have not made a post about it. So in brief that night my cat Tish got so terrified by all the noise that when I went downstairs by the inner staircase connecting the two apartments she dashed after me, For a week until she recuperated she spent her time downstairs visiting with her mom Silky and two other younger female cats. Finally, my friend Nick got a hold of her and brought her upstairs. In the meantime, her brother Freddie was wondering what happened to her and was a bit off his feed. So he took all his love out on his human Mama and would sleep glued to my side, We also got some really brisk and cold weather at this time. Now that Tish is home both Freddie and I realize she is one ditzy cat. Totally out of this world. She raced through the apartment like a rocket, checked all the nooks and crannies, but pretty much ignored Freddie. Last night we settled down and Freddie was at my side as usual and Tish came flying on the bed and settled at the top of my pillows. It was not a quiet night and both cats kept waking me up with scratching and meowing etc. I don’t think any of us had a very good night’s sleep. Now I hope Tish has settled back to her routine and become the Greta Garbo of cats again and will “Vant to be alone” instead of crowding in on the bed.
