Miramar Beach, Goa

Of the beaches in Goa and there are many, Miramar Beach has the largest sand bank. It is so large that one cannot walk down to the sea if one has weak knees. At the time I visited those days I had strong knees but now I cannot think of it. We stayed at Yatri Nivas which is government run and the closest to this beach. Even if one cannot get to the sea just sitting and watching the vastness of the sand bank and the sea one gets a feeling of satisfaction. I created a great memory and I reminisce sitting in my favourite corner. Are you beach crazy?

I recently visited the beach with my family. Yes the sand portion is vast. There are many child sports areas also and volleyball courts also there

@allknowing I know Anjuna beach, Calangute beach and Colva beach in Goa very well. That was in 1978-1980 though. Big changes since then.

Wow you had a great experience there. I love to see the beach but I am not crazy about it... I would love to sit in a coffee shop with a nice view! I think that's my dream t o visit coffee shop with a nice brew iced coffee with a perfect view where I can just sit there and relax, and read some books or write after.

This beach is beautiful, it looks calm and not full of people. I am not beach crazy, but I enjoyed walking early in the morning on the beach close to the water.

Sure, beaches offer a nice experience. In Kenya there's alot of activities in our beaches at coastal towns of Malindi and Mombasa.
