Have you seen a camels eyelashes? They are really long!

We saw a couple of camels on the weekend visit to the wildlife park and there were some facts written down - including the fact that they have long eye lashes and often have 2 to 3 layers of them. This is apparently to prevent the desert sand from entering their eyes.
When I had a closer look, it was very noticeable. I'm not sure if you can make it out in the picture. Quite interesting!

I have seen camels;but never noticed their eye lashes.Next time I will.

@pitstop Sometimes people from west India come here on their camels.Now when they come;I will look their eye lashes.

Giraffes have long lashes too. I've seen them right up close. Have a good day.
