Red Alert: A Strong Typhoon Landed

We were declared signal number 3 in my city yesterday, and the strong typhoon Kristine (Trami) landed early this morning today. At this very moment, I tried to cancel all my classes online. Unfortunately, there are three classes I need to attend. Hopefully, there will be no power outage.  This is what I do not like during rainy days. It makes me want to sleep more and stay in bed. As an adulting concern, I need to work and maintain professionalism. I just missed being a child without thinking that much about life. How's the weather in your place? Do you sometimes feel gloomy during rainy days? Image Credit: media.philstar.com

I am fine so far. The rain is not that heavy. The good thing is that I have the electricity and can work tonight. Although we had the power outage this morning.

It's nice to go back to bed on rainy days. I can do that now I'm retired.

I am feeling jealous now. In fact, I am almost reaching the procastination stage today. I asked the Chinese company to cancel my classes for two hours.

@cabuyogty I agree with you. Typhoon Kristine focused here in the cordillera.

That is too long not to go to school. Here, students started not to go to school for 2 and a half days.

If rain goes on for too many days, I get gloomy too. But the risk of a power outage is enough of an "excuse" to cancel all your classes, sucks you still had to attend three of them.

Even if I asked them to cancel classes online, they will still give us penalties. The Chinese company does not accept such reasons.

@somewitch Indeed. Working in some Chinese companies is not that good. That is why I have a backup and also work in a Japanese company.

It seems this year there are more big typhoons. I heard about the typhoon Trami but I am not sure whether it will attack here later. The weater is a cooler a bit but that's comfortable as it won't be very hot. I hope this typhoon won't cause big damages in your side.

As of today, it seems like no typhoon happened here. That is a good thing to do.

We were glad that the heavy rain stopped the following day. I felt bad about some places in my country. They experienced roof-level flooding.
