Marigolds

There was never a year earlier, that we did not have marigolds in our garden but this year we have none. It is all because of rains that have still not subsided. It is October and it is raining cats and dogs.
Rain is not suitable for seasonal flowers. I do have a bit of colour but that is not good enough. Even the bougainvillea have stopped flowering
The only benefit is that we do not have to water the garden.

They are easy to grow and I really miss them. Here Hindus use them to worship their Gods

What marigolds I bought seems to be dying I'm hoping they'll
come back next year but if they don't well I'll have to put something
else in their place that will return every year.

@allknowing Yeah true. Although I don't have a proper garden, the pot plants have withered in my balcony.

@allknowing I guess so, but I'm like what comes back the yr after it gets planted
in the garden, what don't return OH WELL.

It's nice you don't have to water the garden, but sad many flowers can't bloom.
