Discussions Are Back

I mean my discussions. I didn't leave but I haven't been posting for some days. I'm doing great, if you ignore some flu symptoms, so the reason was that I've been busier elsewhere. And I wanted to make sure I replied to all the responses my past discussions received before creating a new one.
That's my style, my choice. I'm totally okay with those who don't do the same. After all, it doesn't go against the guidelines. Actually, we don't even have to interact with the responses we receive, but that would defeat the purpose of a "discussion".
That said, if I ever miss a past response, never be afraid of letting me know. 
Activity is pretty high at the end of the month, I guess members rush to make a payout the next month.
I'm not sure I'm going to make it, but if the site keeps on being this "hectic", I might.
I was asked to take photos of the current season. I couldn't get to snap any exciting landscape, but I found these leaves on the ground to be charming nevertheless.

That looks like a nice tableau. Most of the leaves that have fallen here are an ugly shade of brown, but I do manage to find some interesting looking ones at times.

@wolfgirl569 Thank you! I gotta admit I tweaked the settings a little to enhance the colors, the leaves were originally more yellow.

The end of the month is the most active for sure. You also need to know when to hit it. Early in the morning or around dinner time are good times to catch people online, too.

@TheHorse Thanks, editing was involved to improve the colors but I took the photo on a sunny day which also helped. Oh, February is the coldest month, of course.

i usually check discussions first and then go to my notifications.
i'm active, but i doubt i'll be making minimum for this month. that's fine - it'll be easier for the next one

@aureategloom I'm chaotic with my activity here, I check a notification then I look at the most recent discussions, then I look at the person's profile, then I check another notification and so forth. As long as I'm being productive somehow.

I like the attitude to respond to every respons to the discussion , something I too follow from Day 1. It helps to value every response and also improve our discussion points. Too respond to responses even to my old discussions. I feel I need to value mylotters who search my old discussions and respond to them. I am being valued ,so definitely need to value others. I am not rushing with the discussions or responses . I always have a constant in that. In that fashion , i keep the quality in my answers and discussions. Plus , I spend limited time in mylot and want to be relaxed during and after the time on mylot. Hopefully , I should make the payout this month , which would be my maiden payout at mylot after 5 long months. Enjoy your day ahead!

@RevivedWarrior Exactly, giving back is essential. I like the earning system here, it motivates people to interact with one another, pushing them to have actual conversations. It's teamwork.

The first thing I do is to attend to notifications, followed by looking at the top rated and lastly write my own discusions.

@allknowing I check notifications first too. Unless I feel like "grinding", then I might respond to new discussions before I'm done with all notifications, hoping they keep on coming and never stop coming.

I comment back toall responses I receive and try to continue the interaction.Sometimes my interaction for weeks.I'm trying as much as possible;but have a long way to go before hitting the payout.

@somewitch Exactly.We start discussions when we have an idea expecting responses.I rarely have a shareable idea.So I thought to cash on others' ideas and respond to their posts.That's what I do until an idea hits my mind.I try my best to continue interaction until the user at the other end stops it.After getting paid a few days back;K have made my first dollar and crossed it.Still miles to go before reaching the payout again.

@Shivram59 I think that's the best way to do things here, if we're able to have "conversations" in the comments that really helps. Sometimes they involve even more than two people.

I'm not much of a prolific writer either, sometimes I got stuff to share but the process of writing, proofreading and editing a photo for a post can take more time than what I can afford. But I don't feel like I'm overdoing it, so I keep on going that way.

I'm doing way better, thank you.
As long as no responses or comments are forgotten, not a big deal if it takes a few days. One dollar short is good, I'm almost two dollars away.
