Can't believe I'm doing this at almost five in the morning but...

Good night.Finally ready to put the laptop down and doze off before the sun wakes me up. George has fallen asleep sitting up and never made it to our bed. He'll get there, eventually. But, he needs to sleep.
He tried to go to bed around one in the morning, but I had to flush his tube and get him to take his medicine so that kept him up another hour. he just didn't go after that.
It's okay, we're allowed one of those nights. I'd go to bed, myself, but I can't until he does in case he needs my help.

Have you thought of getting him a bell or buzzer that he can sound if he needs you? That way you could sleep just a little more normally.

@FourWalls Yeah. Sometimes George will call for me. But, sometimes George will do for himself. And, as much as I want him to do for himself I'm a little concerned about him doing things after falling asleep on the couch. So, yes, I have been there with him.

I thought about it. My main concern is not so much not being able to hear him if I fall asleep, but Him deciding to do things on his own and being to tired and winding up on the floor. If he sees me, he's more prone to ask me for help when he's tired.

Oh, no. It's nt that I don't want to at times, because I do. But, I can't risk him trying to do for himself when he's tired or has been lying on the couch all day. He's not as strong when he plays lounge lizard. I expected he'd do that today after what we did yesterday and I was right.

Yeah, I know. I had to deal with Chilly's passing on top of George's illness. At least George can do for himself when he choses to do so.

He kind of wanted to go to bed about one in the morning (that was our rare late nights), but I needed to flush his tube and give him his final feed. So he sat up for anther hour as he's supposed to do, and just fell asleep sitting up.
