An Autumn Saturday

We woke up to another cool day here today. I turned the furnace on and set it to 23.5C yesterday. I needed to warm it up as I was . minding the dampness. Today it feels much better, and the sun is shining on and off which makes a real difference.
I was up and out for groceries early. I have some broccoli soup on the stove currently. We will have some with deli meats on whole wheat wraps for lunch together. I do not think that I will need to cook supper. We are going to a friend's birthday party late this afternoon, which will have lots of goodies to eat. I was asked to bring cherry cheesecake dip with graham crackers. Yummy.

I love that photo, I wish I had a tree here that turned colors like the bright reddish one on the background.
I'm so glad it's still warm enough here not to need a heater yet.
As soon as my motivation shows up I'm going to make a tater soup.

Thank you, it is so bright and colourful here right now.
I was admiring the beauty of the many trees as I drove home from the grocery store this morning.
Our city is nicknamed the 'Forest City' and we have alot of tree cover.
We really only need the heat on occasionally at night here.
I made soup this morning and with the stove being on and the sun being out it heated up to 25C inside, we shut off the furnace and opened a window.

We ordered Chinese on Thursday night.
There is a new Asian grocery store not far from here and our son went just before supper one day last week and he told me that they had a hot food case, and he got enough for the 4 of them, and he said it was really quite good, and much more reasonable than the restaurant.
Enjoy the Chinese later on.

@snowy22315 Well I can tell you that they have a huge selection of fresh fish and seafood and lots of premade, frozen spring rolls. I picked some spring rolls up there and we have them on occasion for a meal.

That seems to be a great fun day. I will be running the weekend chores and have a couple of them as the month end is approaching. Got few things from the grocery in the evening. Had to purchase a few other things and had food cooked at home. Was learning a few thigs online and well also working on my website and both these activities were time taking. I also had to make plans for the week as it is going to be a busy week and lot of acivities to be completed as well. I did miss a few parties last week and do not think there is one anytime soon. You have a great time ahead!

You have a busy weekend.
We had a great time at the party.
We always leave her place so full, we all brought something and had more than enough food.
Today I will go to our son's place and watch the twins while our son and his wife straighten up the garage as they have to bring in the girl's outdoor summer toys to store until spring.

Broccoli is my favorite veggies. I'll bet the soup was delicious. I'm glad you're feeling better. Cherry cheesecake dip sounds yummy too. Yesterday I was really tired and slept in bits and pieces. Every once and a while I catch up on my lack of sleep. Today we will go visit my hubby. Have a good day.
