Who are these men?

I have learned a great deal from people of MyLot so I am sure someone can solve this mystery for me. Does anyone know who these people are? This photo was among other family heirlooms, but obviously doesn’t feature my family members. It looks as though it must have been sold as a souvenir and brought back from travels, probably in the 1920s/30s/40s. Maybe from Egypt or somewhere in that sort of area. Any suggestions? @fleura The one on the left is one of the shepherds in a school nativity play. He is the headmaster filling in for a little boy who started vomiting just before the play started. no idea about who the other one might be

I read this post only one minute ago, I recognized King Farouk, not the other one.

No they're definitely not related! I can only assume it was bought as a souvenir, the same way people nowadays buy postcards of the royal family when they visit London for example. But I don't know why they are together.

It was among old family photos. Those were from the 1920s to the 1940s so I imagine it was during that period as well.

I was gonna say "Men in funny hats" but JJ says different. Abdulaziz was king of Arabia. Farouk was king of Egypt.

Scar gave you the correct answer, I remembered King Farouk of Egypt and a reverse image search confirmed who those people are.
