Walking on a Tuesday

But it was last week.
I was either too busy or too lazy to post back then.
Oh well, hopefully I remember what it was like.
Spiderwebs, or more like spider threads.
I've never seen so many before, it is like spiders know Halloween is approaching and they wanted to help with decorations.
I even limboed under a very thick one.
Then I saw some animals, but sadly I only brought the phone and the camera's zoom wasn't good enough. I saw a beaver, a duck, and a heron!
Overall, it was a nice sunny break from the rainy days. It even helped me recover from my cold.
I was glad I wore short sleeves, it was around 21C/70F but the sun and the walk made me sweat a little.
In my country, we dress for the season, not the temperature. Many people wore jackets.
But I guess that old man in shorts knew what he was doing.

You never know what kind of weather you'll get around here. I try to dress accrdingly, but it's unpredictable at best.

@somewitch Yeah, I know. The wind tends to be stronger when we're on beachside, reguardless of the time of year.

@kaylachan It tends to be like that near coastal areas. It can get windy, so I always bring a jacket.

@rakski Especially if the trees provide some shade, the sun is much appreciated during colder seasons but it can still leave me with a headache.

@AmbiePam It was too far to appreciate the cuteness, but I know they hang out in that area so I know it was one of them.

@snowy22315 Aww, that's okay. You can't force it, this week I've only been walking outside on Monday. I hope you get more pleasant days ahead.

@wolfgirl569 I should do the same, I just need fewer clothes so they can all fit in the closet.

i also see now and then men, mostly older men in shorts. as you said it, they know what they're doing. well, last week or this one, it is the photo i can get myself immersed and i am instantly warm like i can feel this sun you saw heron, really? wow. is it a habitual resident or?
i saw spider web on a bin in town; it was really strange seeing that you're recovered? yes. if i'm not jinxing myself, i feel better today as well. i have been out a lot today and got a blister on my heel; just what i wanted

@grenery8 Herons might be smaller than storks but I guess not by much, they're still pretty large. It flew low, right in front of me, and looked awkward. Yeah, hopefully it was a good sign!
Great the heel is healing, or the heal is heeling.

@grenery8 Rice fields where grey herons usually stay are less than 50 km away, they're supposed to migrate towards Europe in September but I've seen them earlier than that, so they might have become permanent residents. But I didn't expect to see one in my town, definitely.
That bird was HUGE!
I guess the bin attracts many insects so that's a perfect spot for a spiderweb, if people don't use the bin that would be.
Just a little of cough but I'm doing much better overall, glad you're feeling better too.
I also get blisters when I walk a lot, sucks the body doesn't know any better way to "reward" us for our efforts. I hope you could get some rest and allow it to heal.

With the kind of changing weather one will have to shift their thoughts on what to wear.

@allknowing Yeah, you never know when the sun might come out and make everything warmer. I usually cope with the cold better than the heat, so I'd rather wear less than more, just in case.

The photo is so beautiful. I would really love to have a sunny walk in that kind of place.
I am glad you don't have a cold anymore. Wishing you a lot of good weather to come. Though the weather is a bit good in Manila, but in one of our provinces they are affected by the Typhoon Leon, that's a bit sad.

@luisadannointed Thank you! Yes, it was very nice and it's even better when very few people are around, so I can enjoy the views and not be distracted.
Glad the weather is quite good over there and you weren't too affected by the typhoon.

@jstory07 Leaving a jacket in the car is a good idea, I usually leave my umbrella.

@RasmaSandra Thanks! Yes, there is nothing to see in the town where I live, except animals. They're pretty much the highlight of my walks around the neighborhood.

@JudyEv I'm glad I didn't rearrange my closet too much, so summer clothes are still easy to grab. I guess summer is just around the corner for you.
