Late Saturday morning, I dressed in my 80s costume (Flashdance black and hot pink themed) and hopped into the car to pick my daughter up from work. We were going to an 80s Halloween party for our last day of zumba class .
It was quite sunny out and nearly hot as I was driving. I turned the car radio on to try to find some 80s music to put me in the mood.
And so . . . what do I hear?
Nat King Cole . . .
"Although It's been said . . . many times, many ways . . .
Merry Christmas . . . to you"
Nooooooooooooooooooooooo!
It was/is still not yet Halloween . . . I am not ready at all for this holiday stuff .
Are holidays being pushed on us way too early these days?

That’s hilarious. I don’t like it when they jump to Christmas even before Halloween. Here, we have one radio station that starts playing nothing but Christmas music from Thanksgiving Day to January first, and I appreciate that. But too early bums me out.
I’m so glad to see a discussion from you. Keep them coming!

Oh, that is ridiculous! It never used to be that way..when retailers had some sense.

I think holidays are pushed on us too early. Who wants to hear about Christmas when it's still October?

I am afraid the Christmas holidays are being pushed too early since the Lake Charles radio stations begin their Christmas music starting on Thanksgiving.
